Ann sat on the bed thinking. Her father have succeeded in turning her younger sister into a notorious arm robber. Their mother died of cancer five years ago. Chief Audu;her father  vowed to get rich by any means after his wife Lara died of cancer due to lack of money for treatment. He asked of help everywhere but no one offered help to him and his family until his wife died. Help came in briefly during the burial but stopped immediately after Lara was buried.

Life became difficult for him,he was wallowing in poverty and suffering from the lost of his beloved wife. The situation didn't improve instead it was worsening until he decided to take up arm robbery to get rid of poverty and a means of revenge to the society for letting his wife die. He called his children one day and told them about his plans. Ann was against the idea but her younger sister Janet accepted the idea immediately.

It has been three years now and Janet have become a professional arm robber. She is a specialist in robbing banks,hotels,shopping malls and high way robbery. She have five boys that they rob together. She have stopped her father from going for operations a year after he was shot during a bank robbery they went in Port Harcourt. Before they go for any major operation,they survey the place for two to three weeks. She has masterd all the tactics in robbery. Ann have adviced her many time to repent from the act but it fell on deaf ears. She decide to start praying for her father and sister.

Senetor Bola is a very influential man in Lagos. He has won in every election defeating his rivals with wide margin and all his god sons and daughters are currently serving as ministers, commissioners,advisers among other political appointment. He have a beautiful wife, Mrs Cynthia and are blessed with a very handsome son named Patrick. Mrs Cynthia gave birth to three stillborn before giving birth to Patrick. She didn't get pregnant again after having Patrick. To his family and outsiders,Chief Bola is a very good politician in the sense that he help the people of his senatorial district by providing the basic social amenities and sponsor one hundred youths to go and study abroad yearly. He is so much loved by his people for the kindness.

What people don't know is that Chief Bola is a brutal ritualist. He is one of the most powerful and feared ritualist in the county. He sacrifice ten human heads every months remain powerful,influential and scandal free. He have boys that help him in carrying out the ritual in one of his houses in the suburb of Lagos.

Ann took one of the cars in the house and drove to City Mall to shop though she have everything at home. She just need some time to be free from her family. She parked the car at the parking space within the mall's premises and walked towards the mall. She was about entering the door when she stumbled. A man behind her quickly grabbed her from the waist to stop her from falling.

"Hope you are not injured?" The man asked still holding her.

"Iam not,thanks to you." She said smiling. He removed his hands from her waist.

"Iam Patrick." He said streaching his hands for a shake.

"Annabel is the name but my friends call me Ann." She said as they shook hands.

"You have a lovely name." He complimented.

"Thank you."She smiled which made her dimples to appear. "Can we go in now?" She asked.

"Sure,after you." He said. She walked in and he followed her. They went round the mall together shopping and talking. They seem to go along with each other. They went to the shop attendant after they finished shopping. He insisted on paying for her but she refused. He walked her to where her car was parked carrying her shopping bags. They exchanged numbers and he promised to call her later in the day.

What started as friendship turned into a relationship. Days became weeks,weeks became months. They can not do a day without seeing each other or taking over the phone
