African leaders threaten to quit ICC
African leaders are backing Kenya's move to quit the Intertantional Criminal Court over a claim of bias, the Punch Newspaper has reported quoting the French news Agency, AFP.
According to the report Chad's President, Idriss Debby who was elected Chairman of the Agfrican Union at the summit queried why the court focuses on African leaders.
“Elsewhere in the world, many things happen – many flagrant violations of human rights – but nobody cares,” the report quoted Deby as saying.
