‘Buhari’s anti-graft war exposing true colour of prominent Nigerians’

The Buhari Media Support Group (BMSG) has said that the anti-corruption campaign of President Muhammadu Buhari is bearing fruit and ‘gradually’ changing the image of Nigeria.
A statement jointly signed by BMSG’s Chairman, Muhammad Labbo, and Secretary, Cassidy Madueke, added that despite the “cynicism of partakers in the ruinous looting of the country”, the campaign is having the desired impact nationally and internationally.

The group stated that the campaign had unmasked “the true colour of many prominent persons and wealthy individuals who have been in and outside of government.”
It said that the changing perception about Nigeria is due to the “Buhari phenomenon”, his body language and the unmasking of the corrupt.
The group also stated that other reputable international organisations and personalities, including the European Union, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the US government through Secretary of State, John Kerry and Commerce Secretary, Penny Pritzker, had ‘positively’ taken note of the anti-corruption war and had pledged their support.
