PDP: APC Cannot Retract Itself From The Alleged Destruction Of The Nations Economy

The ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) has always labelled the erstwhile ruling party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for destroying the country’s economy.

But according to the PDP, the APC cannot retract itself from the alleged destruction of the country’s economy.

Deji Adeyanju, PDP’s new media director in a chat with Naij.com said out of the 19 northern states governors, 12 are former PDP members and elected officials. He questioned how the governors who were once in the PDP have now become saints and can be retracted from the APC allegation.

He said the APC should rather work on restoring the country’s economy rather than pointing accusing fingers.

He also questioned the new electricity tariff hike asking what happened to the change slogan the party promised during electioneering.

Meanwhile, PDP has announced a new date for its NEC meeting to next week following requests by critical stakeholders and leaders of the party.

In the new schedule, the meeting of the National Caucus of the party has been moved to Monday, February 15th at 7pm.

The meeting of the Board of Trustees (BoT) will now hold on Tuesday morning, February 16th while the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting will hold at 2pm on the same Tuesday, February 16th, 2016.
