Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal, has admitted that their best chance of qualifying for next season’s Champions League, is winning the Europa League.

The Red Devils lost 2-1 to Sunderland on Sunday and failed to make up ground on the top four teams, who play each other on Sunday.

This means United are six points adrift of Champions League places and may be further away by the end of the weekend.
